The Iranian Revolution and Iran:  What is a theocratic republic?

Warm Up:

Look at your map and identify Iran's geographic neighbors.
Look up the main language of Iran and the main ethnicity.

Objective:

I can understand the challenges leading to the Iranian Revolution and the creation of a theocratic republic.

Agenda:

4)  If time, we can check out the Iranian Constitution.

HW:

1)  You should review 33.4 (1980 - 1981) about the Iranian Revolution.  But you also should know the classwork we did today well.

1)  Please reflect on the film and our Middle East unit in a 400 word reflection.   Full assignment is here and up on Classroom.
